In anticipation of the release of the early portions of the newsletters later this week for the upcoming rounds (AFL Round 18 and NRL Round 19), we have summarised the results below for the previous round and the other rounds covered this year as well.
As always, the profit on these positions can be extended by looking for relevant games to cover across multiple corporate bookmakers with promotions covering certain games. Our aim is always to WIN with every position, so these can always be staked without promotional coverage, though taking the bookies up on their offers gives us even more edge!

This week we had a negative variance on the multi products, going back -6.45 UNITS to the main multi newsletter across both codes, which was a setback after the single biggest weekly profit leap in 2026 two weeks back. However, again this emphasised the importance of the strategy when using bet return features from the corporate bookmakers. Despite the cash negative variance, overall our expected profit held true. If you have offers, use them. Simple.
A few customers asked us how to get the most out of the information this week, and we pointed them towards a couple of things that can be done. We have used Unit sizes of $25 for these results, as everyone will be different. Keeping some uniformity!
Before that though...
Some musings again from the weekend past on some performances from individual players. It never ceases to amaze me what you can witness when you watch enough sports or racing in terms of the funny way things pan out from time to time! The research is GREAT, but probability is always going to play out when the rubber hits the road. Below were my favourites from the weekend:
1) Unusually bad negative variance on player disposals in the AFL. We review each staking position and player after every round, regardless of a win or loss. This round was a sight to see, and probably could watch another 5 seasons and not see it happen again. Across the 8 players that missed their disposals total, they were all down an average of 6.1 disposals per game on their season average. That's basically each player missing at a minimum, a quarter of the game from their usual output. And to then see that in 8 of the 9 games is something that just does NOT happen that often. Players like Noah Anderson were down 8.9 disposals on their season average, and 13.6 disposals on their average against the team they were facing. Luke Jackson was the same. Down 7.3 disposals for the game on his season average, in what is being talked about as a potential Brownlow year. Darcy Parish. Down 10.1 disposals on his season average, or 12.4 on his last 5 average against his opponent. Was a tough watch to see so many drastic fade outs.
Regardless, we remain well up for the year, approaching +73 UNITS of projected profit on a single staking position on each game for each week and no more. SOLID.

To clarify for the multi products, if our customers started with a bank of 17 units to cover their entire first round across both codes, there would have been a 125.58% growth on the initial bank in 14 weeks. Decent.
Adding in the use of Bet Returns if you have them available, and on an assumed 70% return of those bonus bets into actual cash (this is below what we get but being tough on the marking), there would have been a 426.17% growth on the initial bank in 14 weeks. Again, decent.
On a sample size over 200+ games now, this is a really good track record for the season. Let's keep it progressing.
