Hi All,
In anticipation of the release of the early portions of the newsletters later this week for the upcoming rounds (AFL Preliminary Finals Round and NRL Finals Week 2), we have summarised the results below for the previous round and the other rounds covered this year as well.
As always, the profit on these positions can be extended by looking for relevant games to cover across multiple corporate bookmakers with promotions covering certain games. Our aim is always to WIN with every position, so these can always be staked without promotional coverage, though taking the bookies up on their offers gives us even more edge!
Quick interlude, we have our X account now operational, and would really appreciate a follow if you are on the platform. Our account is at the following link:
This week was a return to the overall cash profit, with the multi newsletter recording an uptick of +1.2 UNITS PROFIT. The AFL finals games in particular played out very well, with both games coming through. This shows that the quality of the game DOES count.
Again, we are putting emphasis on this point:
If you have offers from the bookies, USE THEM.
Again... USE THEM.
They are a part of the edge, and need to be factored in at all times.
At this time of year, there is no shortage of offers being put around by the Corporates, and when they are available, they are definitely worth it.
Before that though...
Some musings again from the weekend past on some performances from individual players. It never ceases to amaze me what you can witness when you watch enough sports or racing in terms of the funny way things pan out from time to time! The research is GREAT, but probability is always going to play out when the rubber hits the road. Below were my favourites from the weekend:
1) NRL finals crowds - a bit away from the punting with this one, but was disappointed in the decision making from the NRL to centralise the Finals towards Allianz. It is an amazing ground no doubt, but 17k to a Final with the Sharks looked abysmal. They need to do better.
Anyways... into the home straight... almost to the big dance for both codes!
We have updated the tables and graphs below with the results.

Year To Date (Multis):

To clarify for the multi products, if our customers started with a bank of 17 units to cover their entire first round across both codes, there would have been a 39% growth on the initial bank in 24 weeks. Decent.
Adding in the use of Bet Returns if you have them available, and on an assumed 70% return of those bonus bets into actual cash (this is below what we get but being tough on the marking), there would have been a 553.70% growth on the initial bank in 24 weeks. Again, decent.
On a sample size over 350+ games now, this is a really good track record for the season. Let's keep it progressing.
Bring on the finals!
Cheers,
Game Day Edition Team
