Hi All,
In anticipation of the release of the early portions of the newsletters later this week for the upcoming rounds (AFL Finals Week 3 and NRL Finals Week 1), we have summarised the results below for the previous round and the other rounds covered this year as well.
As always, the profit on these positions can be extended by looking for relevant games to cover across multiple corporate bookmakers with promotions covering certain games. Our aim is always to WIN with every position, so these can always be staked without promotional coverage, though taking the bookies up on their offers gives us even more edge!
Quick interlude, we have our X account now operational, and would really appreciate a follow if you are on the platform. Our account is at the following link:
This week was a very small retraction on the overall cash profit, with the multi newsletter recording a negative variance of -0.10 UNITS but an overall realised positive variance of +3.40 UNITS PROFIT with bonus bet returns if they were available. The AFL finals games in particular played out very well, with two games coming through out of 4, recording a +2.5 UNIT profit on the bigger games. This shows that the quality of the game DOES count. The final round of the NRL season can always be junk, with pretty much all positions sorted, and only pride being played for with a lot of the teams. Again, we are putting emphasis on this point:
If you have offers from the bookies, USE THEM.
Again... USE THEM.
They are a part of the edge, and need to be factored in at all times.
Before that though...
Some musings again from the weekend past on some performances from individual players. It never ceases to amaze me what you can witness when you watch enough sports or racing in terms of the funny way things pan out from time to time! The research is GREAT, but probability is always going to play out when the rubber hits the road. Below were my favourites from the weekend:
1) Final Round NRL - Every year, we get to the final round and up pops the usual massive rotations on teams, with benching playing out across the comp, and the results reflecting that. It is a round we enter with trepidation because of this, and despite it getting us some wins, it carries a lot of risk. Always tread carefully when walking on junk!
2) AFL Finals Rounds - on the converse of that, we saw two truly great wins on the AFL product, as those games played out very well in terms of effort from all teams involved. And never write the underdog off in finals. We saw that play out in the Round, despite all the "pundits" claiming otherwise (we had a substantial stake on Sydney for the WIN - $4 odds). Now the Finals look vastly different. Plays out every year like this. Should we expect any different?
Anyways... into the home straight... almost to the big dance for both codes!
We have updated the tables and graphs below with the results.

Year To Date (Multis):

To clarify for the multi products, if our customers started with a bank of 17 units to cover their entire first round across both codes, there would have been a 31.94% growth on the initial bank in 23 weeks. Decent.
Adding in the use of Bet Returns if you have them available, and on an assumed 70% return of those bonus bets into actual cash (this is below what we get but being tough on the marking), there would have been a 546.64% growth on the initial bank in 23 weeks. Again, decent.
On a sample size over 350+ games now, this is a really good track record for the season. Let's keep it progressing.
Bring on the finals!
Cheers,
Game Day Edition Team
